Here are five tips to help your students be successful on the Montana University System Writing Assessment .

1. Point your students to how to write a persuasive essay on WEBWriters. The information guides them through the writing process, from tackling the prompt to the final draft.
   
   
2. Review the Montana/ACT Holistic Scoring Scale. Analyze the elements of each score, and make sure students understand how essays will be evaluated.
